When are the tickets going on sale?
-Our tickets will be on sale soon. For further information, you can stay in touch with us through our social media accounts.
Will there be ticket sales in the event area?
-Our guests will be able to purchase tickets in the event area aswell if they wish.
Who is eligible for discounted tickets?
Discounts are only available for students and a student ID must be presented at the fairgrounds. We would like to remind that student tickets without student a ID are not valid and cannot be refunded or exchanged.
Children 6 years and under do not require an entry ticket.
Is there an age limit for entry?
Although there is no age restriction, children are the responsibility of the adults accompanying them. Parents are kindly asked to guide their children to ensure an enjoyable experience for all.
Are pets allowed?
-Small breed pet friends will be welcomed in the fairgrounds.

How can we get to the fair?
In addition to transportation by car, you can also reach the fairground by various public transportation vehicles.
SEA TRANSPORTATION
During Contemporary Istanbul, there will be regular boat transportations (round-trip) provided. You can visit the fairgrounds and the piers indicated in the table. For guests with a fair ticket or invitation, the boat transportation is FREE.
-At the boarding points, our staff will be scanning the QR code of invitations or tickets.
-Those who have not yet bought their tickets but want to come to the fair can use the QR code on the boards at the boarding points through which ticket sales will take place will be redirected to the purchase link.
-There will be no physical sales at the boat boarding. Guests can only purchase tickets online.
-Promotional boards with CI logos will be available at the boat boarding points.

FERRY
Apart from our special boat services, you can also reach the fair by ferry: You can use the Golden Horn Line from Üsküdar and Karaköy piers. The fairground is a 3-minute walk from Hasköy Pier.

BUS
-There are direct transportation options to Tersane Istanbul from various central districts such as Taksim, Eminönü and Mecidiyeköy.
-You can reach Tersane Istanbul from various locations by using buses numbered 36T, 50E, 50N, 54HT, 77A.
“Tersane Istanbul” is only a 3 minute walking distance from the bus stop in front of the “Cami Altı Station”.
Nearby bus stops : Deniz Hospital - Kasimpaşa Direction (4 min walk), Deniz Hospital - Hasköy Direction (4 min walk), Yeni Çeşme - Sütlüce Direction (8 min walk), Türabi Baba - Şişhane Direction (8 min walk).
Metro - The fairground is located in Harbiye, between Taksim and Osmanbey metro stations. If you prefer to go on foot, it will be a 15-20 minute walk from both metro stations. You can use the M2 metro line.

Is parking available?
-Parking is only available at Tersane Istanbul and is chargeable. We remind you that there is a limited number of parking spaces in and around the area. We recommend you to choose to come by sea transportation and other public transportation routes.
-There is a valet service in Tersane Istanbul and our guests who will come by car will park their vehicles through the valet.
Is the event indoors?
Most of the event area will be indoors, but we will also have exhibitions taking place outdoors.
Are there any precautions taken in case of rain?
While most of the exhibition will take place indoors, the outdoor parts will have a canopy over the area which will provide protection from the rain.
Which food and beverage brands are going to be in service during the fair?
There will be restaurants serving in the fairgrounds. The list will be announced in the coming days.
Is there a cloakroom in the area?
Cloakroom service is provided at the Fairgrounds for a fee.

On which days does the event run?
October 23rd will be the preview while October 24th - 27th will be the general visit dates.
What are the event start and end times?
October 23-26 : 11.00 - 20.00
October 27 : 11.00 - 19.00
Can we stay in the event area after the end time?
Visits to the fair can only take place between the specified hours.

I like the art. Who do I contact to buy it?
You can contact the gallery that represents the work.
What are the requirements for participation in the fair?
Contemporary art galleries can participate in Contemporary Istanbul.
Can we participate as an independent artist?
Independent artists cannot participate in the fair. Only artists represented by galleries can participate in the fair.
RULES & SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR VISITORS
Due to changes in security procedure large bags will not be permitted into the event. Please do not bring suitcases, folding bicycles, scooters or any large items bigger than a handbag or laptop bag.
All bags will be subject to inspection.
Scooters are not permitted in the exhibition halls.
Strollers are permitted however they may not be left in the exhibitions spaces unattended.
Photography is allowed for personal use only. No medium-format cameras with long lenses, flashes, extendable camera devices (ie. Monopods, tripods, etc.) or video recording are permitted. When photographing in booths, please kindly ask the gallerists for permission.
Please note that press and promotional photography and filming are taking place on the premises. Attendance at Contemporary Istanbul implies permission for your image to be used for non-commercial purposes.
All visitors are required to comply with requests from our onsite security staff.
