ABOUT GALLERY

Founded in 2015, Omelchenko Gallery deals with contemporary art, supports and promotes former Soviet Union authors, and represents both established and emerging artists: Mojjoker (Kate Doronina), Natalia Gudovich, Oleg Prokofiev, Vitaly Kopachev, Natalia Tolstaya, Djemma Sattar, Andrey Shkarin and Maria Efimova and others.

 

In its eight years of work, the gallery has implemented over 120 projects, including charitable ones. At the same time, the gallery is a platform for educational programs and creative initiatives in the field of contemporary art and design. 

 

Omelchenko Gallery has been part of key art events in recent years: Aqua Art Fair in Miami, USA(2019), Cosmoscow (2017—2022), Moscow, and Blazar (2022), Moscow. In 2018, the gallery participated in the parallel program of the Moscow International Biennale of Contemporary Art and the VI Moscow International Biennale of Contemporary Art. 

Gallery artists also collaborate with big brands, institutions, and companies such as Cartier, Finlandia Vodka, Siyaniye NCCA, and many others.
 

In 2018 established an art residence in Tobolsk and held the “Discovering Siberia” exhibition at the Theatre of Nations in Moscow.

Mojjoker is a narrative artist who works with concepts and storytelling using all ranges of mediums. Mojjoker’s background in Linguistic and Culturology plus studying interactive media have led to a creation of complex layers’ art where the core are concepts and characters and the forms of realization - painting, digital art and product design.
