Fostering the growth of Türkiye's contemporary art scene, Contemporary Istanbul presents it’s 19th edition, with the preview day on October 23th followed by general admission from October 24th to 27th at Tersane Istanbul.

Ticket sales will end once the event reaches full capacity. Due to high demand, we recommend purchasing your tickets early. Thank you for your understanding.

HOW TO GET THERE?

In addition to car transportation, the fairground can be reached via various public transportation options.

SEA TRANSPORTATION

During Contemporary Istanbul, boat services will be provided for round-trip transportation. Guests possessing a fair ticket or invitation are entitled to complimentary boat transportation.

At the boarding points, fair staff will scan the QR codes of tickets or invitations. For those who have not yet purchased their tickets, ticket sales will be accessible via QR codes displayed at the boarding points.

No ticket sales will occur at the boat boarding locations. Tickets will only be available for purchase online.

CI promotional boards will be visible at the designated boat boarding points.

BOAT SCHEDULES AND DEPARTURE LOCATIONS

*Kadıköy: Departure will be in front of the Haldun Taner Stage.

*Kabataş: Departure will be from the Kabataş Ferry Pier.

*Karaköy: Departure will be from next to the Turyol Karaköy Pier.

FERRY

Alternatively, the fair can be accessed by ferry by the Golden Horn Line from the Üsküdar and Karaköy piers and by the Kadıköy - Eyüpsultan Line from the Kadıköy pier. BUS

Direct bus services to Tersane Istanbul are available from various central districts, including Taksim, Eminönü, and Mecidiyeköy.

The buses numbered 36T, 50E, 50N, 54HT will take passengers directly to Tersane Istanbul.

The Yeni Çeşme bus stop is right in front of the Rixos Tersane Istanbul's entrance.

Nearby bus stops include: Deniz Hospital, Hasbahçe, Aynalıkavak and Kulaksız.

TICKETS & ENTRY

• Will there be ticket sales at the fair venue?

Tickets can also be purchased by card payment at the fairgrounds.

• Is my weekend ticket provides entry for both days?

Unfortunately no. Weekend tickets are only valid for the chosen day as a single entry.

• Who is eligible for discounted tickets?

Discounted tickets are offered exclusively to students, and a valid student ID must be presented upon entry at the fairgrounds. It should be noted that student tickets without an accompanying valid student ID will be deemed invalid and cannot be refunded or exchanged.

• Is there an age limit for entry?

No age restriction has been imposed for entry; however, children must be accompanied by adults. It is kindly requested that parents guide their children to ensure a nice experience for everyone.

Children aged 6 and under do not need ticket to enter the fairground.

• Are pets allowed?

Small breed pets are permitted on the fairgrounds.

EVENT INFORMATION

• Will the fair take place indoors?

Most of the fair will be held indoors, with some exhibitions taking place outdoors.

• What precautions will be taken in the fair of rain?

While the majority of the exhibition will be indoors, canopies will be provided to protect outdoor areas.

• Will food and beverage options be available at the fair?

Various restaurants will be available on the fairgrounds. A full list will be announced in the upcoming days.

• Is there cloakroom available at the fairground?

Our cloakroom is at the entrance of the ballroom and will be free of charge.

RULES AND SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR VISITORS

- Large bags, suitcases, folding bicycles, scooters, or items larger than a handbag or laptop bag will not be allowed in the fairground.

- All bags are subject to inspection.

- Scooters will not be permitted in the exhibition halls.

- Photography is allowed for personal use only, and permission must be obtained from galleries before photographing the artworks.

- All visitors must comply with requests from onsite security staff.
