Simbart Projects was founded by Aslı Hatipoğlu in 2018. In the first two years, Simbart has organized pop-up solo exhibitions of independent artists in different venues in Beyoğlu such as Çukurcuma Hamam, Tomtom Kırmızı, Mısır Apartmanı. In 2020, Simbart moved to its permanent gallery space on Çukurcuma Street. Since the day it was founded, within the carefully selected exhibition program, Simbart continues to work with emerging and prominent names of the Turkish contemporary art scene at its gallery space in Çukurcuma, Istanbul.
